Yoga leads to your Self awareness while fulfilling our duties to our fellow beings and society brings social awareness. Yoga brings the peace of mind and harmony in the body. Service and support bring the peace and harmony among the people in the society. Thus, the duty of a true Yoga student / practitioner is to practice Yoga regularly for his development which is internal, and to discharge (perform) certain obligations for the society.
An ideal Yoga centre should provide opportunities for its members to fulfil both types of activities. The Mill Sivaramaiah Foundation offers such opportunities to its members.

Prof. Jorge Luis Raff, the healer from America, in the very first meeting itself, convinced Masterji Viswanatha of the need to work for the sake of humanity. With his humble, loving and affectionate feelings, Jorge advised Viswanatha to use the energy in this direction as he (Viswanatha) is born for this purpose only. The result of this meeting is THE SHOFAR OF MOSES. In this manner, inspired BY Prof. Jorge, MILL SIVARAMAIAH FOUNDATION will organise a number of community and social activities to help people in the veins of education, health-care, and personal and family development.
Melissa from England, Stephan Brashear and Sharvani from United States have already contributed to SHOFAR OF MOSES activities. With money received from Melissa two children have received student aid.
Many more have promised to send their contributions. This year, we have more requests from female students seeking admission to the colleges/universities.

SHOFAR OF MOSES is dedicated to serving the people with expanded educational opportunities, clothing, food, medicines and other needs, thereby helping them to lead a more comfortable and productive life. The rewards are great, in seeing that the holy river of humanity and human values flows, bringing cheer, happiness, and greater fulfillment to many.
